Ways to pay your rent

You can pay your rent by Direct Debit, standing order, online, or by phone.
Pay by Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. Once it's set up, your rent is paid automatically. It's one less thing to think about.
You choose how often to pay:
- weekly
- fortnightly
- every 4 weeks
- monthly (on a date that suits you)
We work out your annual rent and divide it by the number of payments you'll make.
If your rent changes, we'll adjust the Direct Debit for you. You'll get at least 10 working days' notice. You can cancel with your bank at any time.

How we set your rent
Your rent is charged weekly, and your tenancy runs from Monday to Sunday. The date your tenancy begins is shown in your Tenancy Agreement.
Rent is due in advance every Monday.
You start owing rent from the first day of your tenancy, even if you did not move in on a Monday.
- If your tenancy begins on a Monday, you pay one full week's rent.
- If your tenancy begins on any other day, your first payment will be for a part-week, calculated to cover the number of days from your start date until the following Sunday.
The exact amount you need to pay for:
- the first week or part-week, and
- the ongoing weekly rent will both be shown in your Schedule.
