What we're working on
Untidy gardens and bulky waste - London Park Estate
- Housing Officers and Estate Caretakers engaging with residents — Summer 2026.

Communal bin stores - Oddfellow Street
We're reviewing bin capacity and how the bin stores are set up, based on your feedback.
- Review of bin numbers and store layout - 2026.
Tackling anti-social behaviour on our estates
We're working with partners to reduce anti-social behaviour and improve safety in the area.
- Work with the police and Safer Kirklees - 2026/27.
- Encourage residents to report issues using the online system.
Cleaning up bin stores - Fenton Street
- Clearing weeds and litter from bin store areas - Spring 2026.
Estate inspections
Your Housing Officers carry out estate inspections at least every three months to check for repairs, fly-tipping, broken lights and grounds maintenance issues.
