What we're working on
Reducing waste and fly-tipping - Ouzelwell Lees and Thornhill Lees
We're working with partners and residents to tackle fly-tipping and improve waste management.
- Resident engagement on waste disposal and how to use the council's bulky waste collection - May/July 2026.
Tackling anti-social behaviour on our estates
We're working with partners to reduce anti-social behaviour and improve safety in the area.
- We are holding a partnership Day of Action in Ouzelwell and Thornhill Lees. - May/July 2026.
Engaging with Tenant and Resident Associations (TRA)
We're working to build stronger relationships with TRAs and ensure residents' voices are heard.
- Attend TRA meetings.
- Promote TRA's at Neighbourhood Forums.
- Invite TRA's to estate inspections.
Estate inspections
Your Housing Officers carry out estate inspections at least every three months to check for repairs, fly-tipping, broken lights and grounds maintenance issues.
