Dalton estate action plan

We completed local surveys to gather residents' thoughts about their estate and what matters to them.

• We received 14 responses to our survey - June 2026.
• There was a 77% overall satisfaction rate - June 2026.

We want to complete more local surveys to gather residents' thoughts about their estate and what matters to them.

• From previous survey results, our top 3 priorities for improvement in Dalton are cleanliness and waste management, more access to health and wellbeing services, tackle anti-social behaviour whilst improving community safety - September 2026.

We're working to improve waste management and keep gardens clean and tidy.

• Estate inspections to gather feedback and tackle untidy areas and waste in gardens.
• Support residents to maintain their gardens and monitor improvements.

• Identify local community groups and initiatives such as gardening clubs, religious groups, hobby groups, recipe clubs and coffee mornings - September 2026.
• Communicate with the groups and support or attend when needed - September 2026.
• Attend Tenant and Resident Associations meetings - September 2026.
• Promote Community Groups and TRA's at Neighbourhood Forums - September 2026.

Your Housing Officers carry out estate inspections at least every three months to check for repairs, fly-tipping, broken lights and grounds maintenance issues.
