What we're working on
Improve waste management and reduce fly-tipping
- Review all fly-tipping reports to pinpoint hotspots.
- Partnership working to tackle hotspot locations.
- Resident engagement around recycling across low-rise blocks.
Environmental improvements in communal areas
We're working to make sure shared areas are clean, safe and well maintained.
- Identify priority areas that are neglected, or have hazards - December 2026.
- Focus on winter works, ginnel clearance and shrubbery - December 2026.
- Work with Highways to highlight problems like unadopted footpaths or poor-condition access routes so they can be investigated - December 2026.
Rewiring scheme in Netherton
We are carrying out surveys within your home and rewiring where needed for your safety.
Estate inspections
Your Housing Officers carry out estate inspections at least every three months to check for repairs, fly-tipping, broken lights and grounds maintenance issues.
