What we're working on
Promote financial support available
We're promoting financial support schemes like DHP, CTS, energy vouchers and local welfare assistance through estate visits, community events, social media, and tenant newsletter.
- Money Advice Team drop in sessions around budgeting, benefit checks, grant applications, and debt advice.
- Joint working to share resources and increase resident engagement.
- Make referrals to Employment Support Team.
Improve environmental standards - Eastlands Gardens
- Carry out another estate inspection at Eastlands Gardens to tackle overgrown, untidy gardens and waste.
- Review historic fencing layouts to identify any improvements.
- Monitor roads and pavements during estate inspections.
- Encourage residents to report issues using the online system.
- Resident engagement on correct waste disposal, including bulky waste and recycling options.
Estate inspections
Your Housing Officers carry out estate inspections at least every three months to check for repairs, fly-tipping, broken lights and grounds maintenance issues.
