Huddersfield has a wealth of both independent and big-name businesses, and we want to support businesses based in the town centre in every way we can.

Like high streets up and down the country, it's vital that we adapt to the difference in footfall caused by more people shopping and working from home. As well as creating more exciting reasons for people to visit the town centre, our blueprint plans are about driving more footfall to help our much-loved local businesses succeed. We also want to give people more reasons to stay from day to night, supporting not just local shops and cafés but also our restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Our various developments across Huddersfield will provide lots of opportunities for new businesses to start up and grow, providing great places for entrepreneurs to develop.
