Byram Arcade

The Byram Arcade , built in 1881, is a historic shopping centre located in the heart of Huddersfield, full of Victorian charm and much-loved by locals and visitors alike - not just for its beautiful architecture and history but also for its fantastic collection of local independent businesses.

To make sure it holds that place in the town centre for future generations, we've restored the building - particularly its iconic roof - to its former glory. The roof has undergone meticulous stripping, insulation and slate replacement, protecting its timeless beauty from the elements, and making sure it holds up against the elements for the businesses based within.
