Enhanced public spaces

We're making Huddersfield a brighter, more beautiful place to visit by creating brand new public spaces right across the town centre, and improving the ones we already have.

We're creating more flexible spaces which can be used for exciting events like markets, festivals and live music. We're introducing more greenery across the town centre, bringing in a taste of Huddersfield's beautiful surrounding countryside. And we're introducing more art, often celebrating local creators, in keeping with our ambitions of Huddersfield becoming a vibrant cultural destination in the north.
