We want everyone to be able to enjoy Huddersfield town centre. We want people to find it easy to visit and get around, however they travel and whatever requirements they may have.

As we make other big moves to improve the town centre, giving people more reasons to visit and much more to enjoy, it's more important than ever that our transport links are fit for purpose, and that our town centre is practical and welcoming for everyone.

Our ambitions for Huddersfield's transport network, building on our already excellent connections with the rest of the north and beyond, are also being boosted by other major investments through the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the multibillion-pound Transpennine Route Upgrade.
