The story so far

We have opened Macaulay Steet up so vehicles can leave the street more easily. Vehicles unloading had been struggling to navigate the Macaulay Street area safely whilst pedestrians were passing through.

There is also an experimental traffic order running on Macaulay Street. Vehicles can currently only enter the square between 6am and 1pm Monday to Friday, this is to reduce the risks to pedestrians in the area, and allow business in that area to operate a cafe licence outside. Vehicles can deliver after 1pm and anytime at the weekend.
