Making Holmfirth accessible to all

We want everyone to be able to enjoy Holmfirth's beautiful town centre and all it has to offer.

This means making better and safer routes available for pedestrians and cyclists, making the town centre more accessible, supporting public transport, and improving our roads. Throughout our plans, we're carefully balancing what vehicles need with what pedestrians need, which is particularly important in a busy town where there are always so many people on foot.

As we hopefully create an even busier, thriving town centre for years to come, it's important that everyone can travel in and out of Holmfirth smoothly and get about safety while they're here.
