District Council elections and West Yorkshire Combined Authority Mayoral election - Thursday 6 May 2021
District Council elections are currently scheduled to be held in each of the 23 wards in Kirklees.
These elections were previously scheduled to be held in May 2020 but were deferred to Thursday 6 May 2021 by the Local Government and Police and Crime Commissioner (Coronavirus) (Postponement of Elections and Referendums) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 and the Coronavirus Act 2020
Residents across the West Yorkshire area will also vote on who represents them at a West Yorkshire Combined Authority Mayoral Election.
