A Business Improvement District ballot is being held for Huddersfield.
Return of postal ballot papers
In addition to returning ballot papers to the BID holder's agent at the address below, ballot papers may be returned to:
- Electoral Services
- Address 3-5 Albion Street (High Street entrance), Huddersfield, HD1 2NG
These may be returned during normal office hours (8:30am to 4:45pm) from Monday 8 July 2019 and until 5pm on Thursday 11 July 2019.
Please note that the close for receipt of completed ballot papers is 5pm on Thursday 11 July 2019
Conducting the ballot
The ballot will be conducted entirely by post by the BID holder's agent:

- Address Image House, 10 Acorn Business Park, Heaton Lane, Stockport, SK4 1AS
Notification of the BID ballot will be sent to all affected businesses around Thursday 23 May 2019.
Ballot papers will be sent out to those eligible to vote by Wednesday 12 June 2019. They should be returned to the BID holder's agent at the above address.
Ballot papers have to be received by the BID holder's agent by 5pm on Thursday 11 July 2019.
Persons eligible to vote in the ballot may appoint a proxy on their behalf.
Applications to appoint a proxy must be submitted to the Bid Holders, UK Engage, at the above address no later than Monday 1 July 2019.
Replacement ballot papers
If a ballot paper is not received by Friday 5 July 2019, a request for a replacement should be sent to UK Engage at the above address, providing evidence of identity.
If a ballot paper is spoilt it may be sent to UK Engage at the above address for a replacement. The replacement can only be issued if it is received by Friday 5 July 2019.
