District and Parish Council elections 2023
On Thursday 4 May 2023, District and Parish Council elections will be taking place in Kirklees. Voters from all 23 wards will have the opportunity to elect a new Councillor to represent their local area.
Elections Act
The Elections Act 2022 was granted Royal Assent and passed into law on 28 April 2022. For the first time, voters across the UK will need to show photo ID when voting at polling stations during this year's local elections.
Please make sure you are ready to vote on 4 May by checking you have an accepted form of photo ID.
