Local Development Scheme (Local Plan Timetable)
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) has been produced in accordance with Section 15 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) provides a detailed programme for producing Local Plans, other planning policy guidance and advice and the annual monitoring programme associated with them.
The LDS sets out the timetable of different stages of Local Plan preparation including key stages of consultation and the proposed date of submission to the Secretary of State for examination.
This updated LDS has replaced our previous Local Development Scheme, which was adopted in 2024.
The LDS was approved at Cabinet on 8 July 2025 and is now brought into effect.
