Last of the Summer Wine

Tread in the footsteps of Compo, Nora and Clegg at Sid's Café, the Last of the Summer Wine Exhibition and Nora Batty's Cottage; and take the vintage tour bus to some of the stunning Pennine filming locations.

Broadcast by the BBC for 39 years, this iconic British sitcom was filmed in Holmfirth, and is shown in over 25 countries. Last of the Summer Wine is the world's longest running sitcom.

The Holme Valley has quaint, quiet, country lanes that are ideal for cyclists, walkers and horse riders. There are annual Triathlon, Duathlon, cycling challenge and sportive events hosted in the area, and countless routes to follow through dramatic countryside including the Peak District National Park.
