River Holme

To celebrate the River Holme and how much it means to local people, and to help everyone enjoy the river more, we're making it a more picturesque feature within the town centre.

We're opening views over the water and creating footways that will bring you closer to the water's edge, as well as caring for the river environment itself.

By redesigning the bus station and Towngate car park, we'll create areas where people can spend time and enjoy both better views of the river and Holmfirth's beautiful town centre.
