Market Square

Surrounding its beautiful Listed clock, for a long time Market Square has consisted of a hard-surfaced car park with no seating or landscaping.

We're relocating this parking to Oldfield Lane (though some accessible parking bays might remain), allowing us to create a beautiful new green space in the town centre and a much more pleasant environment for shoppers.

Once finished, this area will include new seating, footpaths, and even a space for outdoor market stalls, bringing more vibrancy and buzz to the town centre.
