Your wedding will take place in one of our Town Halls ceremony rooms at either Huddersfield Town Hall or Dewsbury Town Hall. Our simple ceremony type, take place on Monday mornings only between 10am and 11:30am, excluding bank holidays, and are restricted to the couple and two witnesses only. Please note: Due to ongoing repair works at Dewsbury Town hall, availability is limited and ceremonies will take place in an alternative room. Dewsbury town centre works: Please allow extra travel time due to roadworks and possible disruptions. Visit Our town halls for more details.
This includes the ceremony room as your venue and the attendance of Celebrant Registrars. For this ceremony type, when giving your notice of marriage or civil partnership, please state Huddersfield or Dewsbury Town Hall as your venue.
Costs and what's included
For the simple ceremony, you will receive a link to a guide to inform our Celebrant Registrars of witness information and if you would like to exchange rings, however, there will be no readings, music or other personalised elements included in the ceremony. This guide provides additional important information for the day.
Children of any age, unless they are over 16 and are chosen to be one of the two witnesses at your ceremony, or photographers cannot attend additionally.
The cost for these ceremonies is currently £56.
