Neighbourhood Area Designation

The council designated Netherton and South Crosland Neighbourhood Plan Forum and Neighbourhood Area on 16 November 2021 in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Localism Act 2011 and the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

As the Neighbourhood Area remains, there is opportunity for any potential future interested groups to form a Neighbourhood Forum for the designated Neighbourhood Plan Area. Legislation allows a new Forum to apply to amend the boundary of the Neighbourhood Area, should they wish to do so.
