All our computers have internet access, Microsoft Office applications and links to selected online resources, websites and our subscription databases.
The computers are free to use for library members or visitors with appropriate identification. Children and young people under 16 years of age will need the written consent of their parent, guardian or carer.
Access is available for up to two hours per day, from opening time until five minutes before closing. This may not always be possible during busy times. All users must agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy before using the computer.
Each library has at least one trackball and an oversized keyboard for use with the computers. We are continually seeking to keep up-to-date with text-to-speech, screen magnification and accessibility technologies. Find out more about accessibility at our libraries.
All our computers are print enabled. Below are the prices for printing:
- Black and white A4: £0.10
- Black and white A3: £0.20
- Colour A4: £0.50
- Colour A3: £1.00
Free Wi-Fi access is available at all libraries for users with internet enabled mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
