Our vision

For people who live, work or study in Kirklees to live their best lives with good health and wellbeing, free from inequality, stigma, discrimination and barriers, so they can do and enjoy the things that matter to them.

Baseline focus

Outcomes

The Kirklees Health and Wellbeing Strategy will focus on four outcomes for people who live, work or study in Kirklees across their life course. These include: Best start, Independent, Well and Shaped by people.

Priorities

To achieve these four outcomes we will focus on three priorities; mental wellbeing, healthy places and connected care and support.

Factors

In delivering each priority we will use the six key factors; inequalities and inclusion, shaped by people, poverty, digital, housing and climate emergency. These factors impact our health and wellbeing.
