Newsome Neighbourhood Development Plan
Designation
The council designated Newsome Neighbourhood Area on 12th August 2014 in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Localism Act 2011 and the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations (2012) as amended.
Applicant: Newsome Ward Community Forum
As the Neighbourhood Area remains, there is opportunity for any potential future interested groups to form a Neighbourhood Forum for the designated Neighbourhood Plan Area. Legislation allows a new Forum to apply to amend the boundary of the Neighbourhood Area, should they wish to do so.
Neighbourhood Forum Expiration
The Newsome Ward Community Forum designation for the purpose of producing a Neighbourhood Development Plan expired on 12 August 2019 (designation lasts a period of 5 years) and has not been redesignated. The Forum are not progressing a Neighbourhood Development Plan.
