Dewsbury Town Hall

Dewsbury Town Hall is located on Wakefield Old Road in Dewsbury Town Centre. You'll find our entrance at the front of the building.

There is limited parking outside the Town Hall, but plenty of parking a short walk away, including Old Wakefield Road car park and Cliffe Street car park. View our parking spaces in Kirklees.

Dewsbury Town Hall is an 8-minute walk from Dewsbury Train Station and 6-minute walk from Dewsbury Bus Station.

There are a limited number of parking spaces for blue badge holders adjacent to the town hall on Wakefield Old Road.

Lifts are available to the concert hall and all meeting rooms on the first and second floors. Please note there are steps to all rows of seating in the balcony.

The Town Hall is accessible to wheelchair users and dedicated seating is available in the stalls area. Please contact townhall.tickets@kirklees.gov.uk for more information and guidance on our accessible seating.

Induction loop facilities are available.

Accessible toilet facilities are available on both Ground and First floors.

Assistance dogs are welcome at the Town Hall.

• If you arrive late, you may not be able to enter the auditorium until the interval.
• Please do not use your mobile phone during the performance. Some shows may allow you to take photos.
• Your bag will be checked at most of our shows, only bring one small bag per person. As we do not have cloakroom facilities, you will be refused entry if your bag is bigger than a sheet of A4 paper.
• Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the building.
• If you encounter an issue which is spoiling your experience, please talk to a staff member.
• Only food and drink purchased at our venue can be taken into the auditorium.
• Our show may feature lasers, strobe lighting, flashing lights, haze and smoke.
