Situated in the small garden area with access through the public car park on Wakefield Road, Denby Dale.

A tall column in the shape of a cross with a hexagonal base.

The periods commemorated are 1914-1919 and 1939-1945.

In memory of the
Fallen

Cumberworth
Urban District.

They shall grow not old
as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them
nor the years dismay.
At the going down of the
sun and in the morning
we will remember them.
