War memorials

Dewsbury Baptist Church

Situated in the town centre on the top side of Dewsbury Town Hall in Wakefield Old Road. The Memorial plaque is a stone situated on the outside front wall of the church towards the side entrance.

The period commemorated is 1914-1919.

Inscriptions

The inscription reads:

In the undying memory of those who died for us
in the Great War 1914 - 1919.
