Situated in the Memorial Gardens at the junction of Longley Road and Lowerhouses Lane, one mile outside Huddersfield Town Centre.
A stone-built monument standing approximately 6 feet high, surrounded by grassed areas with shrubs and flower beds.
The periods commemorated are 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.
The inscription reads :
