Kirkburton

Situated in the Garden of Remembrance below Kirkburton Church opposite the old George Inn.

A stone cross with a crucifix and statue of St George on a stepped hexagonal base with the names on the risers. The period commemorated is World War I.

The entrance gates to the Garden of remembrance have been designed with a lamp and an inscription reading 'Toc H 1915-1965. We will remember them'.
