Household Support Fund

This fund is provided by the Department for Work and Pensions and is there to help support vulnerable people and families with rising living costs.

6 months extension to the Household Support Fund (HSF)

A further 6 months extension to the Household Support Fund (HSF) was announced by the Government in the Spring Budget.

We are waiting for guidance from the Government before working on a delivery plan to distribute the fund.

Any new information will be updated on this page as we receive it.

Please do not contact the Local Welfare Provision team about the new fund until the website has been updated.

How the Household Support Fund is being spent

  • Providing grants to help with costs for food, energy, and essential items.
  • Funding the voluntary and community sector - we will provide funding for organisations such as food banks and community groups.
