This fund is provided by the UK Government and the Department for Work and Pensions and is there to help support vulnerable people and families with rising living costs.

Important update

The Household Support Fund application form is now closed to new submissions so that we can focus on processing applications already received.

If you have previously applied and are still waiting for a decision, no further action is needed from you at this stage.

  • We need additional information, or
  • A decision has been made on your application.

How the Household Support Fund is being spent

  • Providing grants to help with food and energy costs
  • Funding the voluntary and community sector - we will provide funding for organisations such as food banks and community groups
  • Targeted support for specific households. You will receive a letter if you are eligible so you do not need to apply.
