Start your business journey at a Kirklees market.
Kirklees markets are at the heart of our towns and communities, bringing people together to shop, socialise and support local businesses. Whether you're launching a new venture, growing an existing business or turning a passion into a profession, a market stall can be a great place to start.
We offer a range of trading opportunities across our markets, along with straightforward guidance on rents, leases and how to apply.
Cleckheaton Market
We currently have some units available for rent. For further information please contact us.
Huddersfield Temporary Market
In addition to Saturdays, we are extending our second-hand goods offer to Sundays. If you are a current or new trader wishing to trade on a Sunday please contact us.
Please note: we are looking for traders selling second-hand, antique, collectible and vintage goods only - not a combination of new and second-hand goods.
We are also looking for food retail and pre-prepared food and beverage traders for our new Friday food offer at the temporary market. This is also an opportunity for existing Huddersfield town centre restaurants and cafés to promote their businesses.
Please note: we are unable to facilitate cooking at this market. If you are interested, please contact us.
Dewsbury Market
If you are a new trader interested in selling at the refurbished Dewsbury Market, please contact us via DewsburyMarket.Applications@kirklees.gov.uk. We will issue interested traders with application details closer to the re-opening of the market.
