Tax guidance
The self-employed ready reckoner tool is available to provide guidance as to how much money to set aside for Tax and National Insurance.
It is for self-employed people who have no other taxable income and are entitled to a basic personal allowance. You are required to fill your estimated weekly or monthly profit - which is your income less business expenses.
Because you are self-employed, you will be expected to complete your accounts up to and including 5 April each year.
