Apply for a bursary to cover your transport costs

All Kirklees Museums venues are listed on Hyundai's Great British School Trip bursary programme. This offers financial support to schools to help cover the cost of transport to visit us.

What is The Great British School Trip Bursary?

The Great British School Trip has already allocated funding to support over 90,000 young people to attend school trips across the UK, and when funding is available it can be used towards your school trip costs.

Bursaries are available to all UK schools and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Priority is given to those who have more than 30% of their pupils receiving free school meals. Funding can be used towards any school trip that takes place in the UK during the current academic year. We do not provide funding towards trips outside the UK.
