Comments in relation to intelligence and insight considered:
In the course of producing the Council Plan, there was engagement with senior officers from every directorate of the council and every cabinet portfolio holder. The political and officer leadership steered the development of the priorities and underpinning deliverables, providing perspective and evidence relating to plans for the coming year and years ahead. This came through facilitated group discussions and individual consultation.

The input of People Services helped to maintain the values, people/partners/place principles, and emphasis on the role of the People Strategy due to the importance of those principles in the Council's work. The People Strategy sets out more details on how our values (kindness, pride, and inclusion) are put into practice via the workforce. This was consulted in producing the Council Plan.

The top-tier partnership strategies set out how organisations in Kirklees are working together for a sustainable environment, inclusive economy, inclusive communities, and improved health and wellbeing. The strategies and/or officers involved in producing these strategies were consulted in producing the Council Plan.

The specific service, project, and programme plans that help us deliver these ambitions have specific IIAs accompanying them.

To what extent were Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) aims considered: Fully

Comments in relation to how PSED aims were considered:
Addressing inequalities and fostering good relations between diverse people is central to the approach set out in the Council Plan. The latter is a core part of our 'Safe & Cohesive' shared outcome and the Inclusive Communities Framework, both of which the plan seeks to support.

Details why residents/service users access has not been considered:
