About the site
Firth Park is a community park located in the in the heart of Heckmondwike.
The play area here was highlighted as a key play site in Heckmondwike and working with the Algernon Firth Park Trust and the Playable Spaces programme works have now completed on the refurbished play area!

Together with Ward Councillors we created a new design for the Play Area. The design was created to make the play provision more appealing and accessible to all age groups by using a variety of play and fitness equipment.

- Inclusive carousel spinning dish
- Supernova round-a-bout
- Supernova round-a-bout
- Climbing unit
- Swings
Other new features also include:
- Fitness Area
- Picnic bench
- Teen seating
The play value score of this site increased by 42% upon completion of the redevelopment!
