This opportunity is for you if you are based in Kirklees and:
- a creative or cultural business, or freelancer. For instance:
- design business
- theatre company
- music venue or professional
- cultural worker
- creative entrepreneur
- trading for 3 years or more
- a freelancer, sole trader, business, charity or social enterprise with less than 10 employees

How the course is delivered
Once signed up, you can select an online or face-to-face option:
- Fourteen 90-minute Zoom sessions on Wednesday mornings, starting on 31 January until 12 June
- Seven 3-hour face to face workshops on Tuesday mornings in Huddersfield, starting 30 January until 11 June
About the programme
The programme is practical, highly interactive, packed with visual tools, top tips, new perspectives and lots of opportunities to learn and share with peers.
You will get the most out of the programme if you can find time to reflect and apply the learning to your own business in between sessions. We reckon you'll need about 90 mins every couple of weeks to work on this offline.
Making Money Meaningful will be brought to you by Gill Thewlis and Ellen O'Hara, who have supported hundreds of creatives like you over the last 25 years. They have worked with people from every creative discipline, from sole traders to world famous institutions. This means they have a deep understanding of the issues and challenges that creatives face in business.
Gill and Ellen love helping creative people and companies become better businesses. They believe that nurturing creativity and culture are essential to people, places and society.
