Contact Creative Development

The Creative Development Team works to create the conditions for successful vibrant and culturally active places and spaces where social, economic and well-being flourishes.

As a team, our key priorities are to deliver a Year of Music in 2023 and the WOVEN in Kirklees biennial textile festival. We work in collaboration with partners on programmes such as Temporary Contemporary , a contemporary cultural development initiative based in Huddersfield.

We support the sector through advocacy and brokerage, research and advice and promotion via the digital hub Creative Kirklees . We work across cultural regeneration and place making through public art, engagement and audience development and we work in partnership to deliver the Kirklees Concert Season in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.
