We are carrying out our first full house retrofits as a pilot scheme at Abbey Road in Fartown. We will be fitting renewable technologies to provide heating and hot water as part of the pilot.

The retrofit is the first we have undertaken, and it is a pilot on just 8 properties. The properties were chosen in collaboration with our Architects Michael Dyson Associates. The work started at Abbey Road on Monday 2nd August 2021.

We plan to thermally insulate the properties by fitting loft, cavity and external wall insulation, they will have new windows, doors and a new roof. We then plan to monitor the performance of these properties which will then inform future schemes we carry out. When finished the properties will look like this:
