Activities
We are open during all school holidays (excluding Bank Holidays) offering a wide of family activities with themed events during Easter, October and Christmas half term breaks.
We can guarantee the following fun family orientated activities during all school holidays.
Family fun trail
Walk around our beautiful woodland finding hidden clues. When you have completed the challenge collect your treat from the food kiosk in the playground. This activity is available for a small charge (£2). You can turn up on the day or book online.
Adventure playground
Run, swing or jump off some steam on our fantastic playground - free to enter.

Woodland walk
Enjoy a leisurely stroll or run around our 13 acres of beautiful woodland - free access.
Orienteering
Pick up a map from the food kiosk and make your way around the woodland finding the hidden locations, making sure you stamp your map when you find each point. This activity is available for a small charge.
School holiday activities
We offer a range of activities during the school holidays including:
- Archery
- Climbing wall
- Bushcraft
- Tree climbing and crate stacking
- Mine experience
- Activity days - coming soon.
All activities excluding the climbing wall are pre-bookable.

Food and drinks
A delicious selection of locally sourced and homemade, hot and cold food, drinks and snacks are available from our food kiosk during our holiday opening.
