Supported Employment for Kirklees residents aged 18 years and over

REAL Employment works 1-to-1 with jobseekers and employers, to break down the barriers to paid work faced by people with learning disabilities, neurodiversity, physical disabilities and long-term health conditions.

Established in 1986, REAL Employment began with a clear and ambitious vision to support people with learning disabilities to access paid work at a time when opportunities were limited and often overlooked. From the very beginning, we were proud to be pioneers recognising the skills, strengths and untapped potential in people who were too often excluded from employment.

Today, our work has grown to support a wider range of individuals, including neurodivergent people, those with physical disabilities, and people with long-term health conditions. While the scope of who we support has expanded, our core ethos remains the same.
