Festival of Light: Saturday 29 November 2014

This year's Festival of Light brings an amazing year of free events in Kirklees to a close following on from the fantastic Tour de France and 'Hypervelocity' celebrations.

Pop along on Saturday 29th November with the kids (big kids welcome too) to meet the characters of 'Frozen' and sing-a-long to the film. Later in the evening musicians will play the score to a cult classic film live.

The event also welcomes back lighting designer, James Bawn, who wonderfully lit Emley Mast over Le Tour weekend. James will create stunning light effects to illuminate the beautiful architecture of St. George's Square.

Food and drink will be available from festive food stalls, beautiful light-based art, including work from local school children and entertaining street theatre will be there for your delight and entertainment.

If that isn't enough our brass band concert and fireworks display returns to get you in the festival spirit.

So, come along for a weekend filled with music, film, lights, art and winter cheer!
