Moving More Often

Moving More Often (MMO) sessions provide opportunities for people to socialise, improve mobility and have fun! The sessions are ideal for older, less mobile or people who have memory challenges.

There are two types of MMO session;

• MAGIC (Movement and Games in Chairs)
• Movement & Dance in Chairs

Some MMO sessions are a combination of both MAGIC and Dance.

MMO sessions are informal and great fun, and they provide activity and movement in chairs. We encourage interaction and friendship as well as incorporating elements of reminiscence and memory games. Some of the sessions may also include music.

Weekly Sessions in Kirklees

These sessions are volunteer led in many cases so we advise you to ring the contact number before attending the session as a new participant, this may also be a good opportunity to chat to the leader about your abilities, where to find the venue and suitable parking.
