Batley Town Hall
About the hall
The Town Hall opened in 1853 and is situated in the centre of Batley overlooking the town's Market Square.
This welcoming venue is a popular choice for community groups as it offers a selection of rooms for meetings, dances and amateur dramatic productions.
The concert hall can seat up to 288 people, recently benefiting from new lighting, sound system and a refurbished stage area.
To complement the main hall improvements the ground floor has also recently been refurbished including the box office, bar, foyers and improvements have been made to the lift and toilet facilities.
Everyone is welcome to Batley Town Hall and we will do whatever we can to ensure you have an enjoyable visit. Staff are available to help, so please ask us if you need any assistance.
Parking and dropping off
There are three parking spaces for blue badge holders adjacent to the Town Hall on Market Place.
A lift is available for patrons who wish to access the main hall and function rooms on the 1st floor. Please note the lift will not be available in the event of an evacuation.
The Town Hall is accessible to Wheelchair users with a ramp at the front of the building and dedicated concert seating is available in the rear stalls.
An induction loop and toilet facilities for those with disabilities are also available within Batley Town Hall. We also welcome guide dogs, please ask if you need help with your seat.
New Way car park
Long Stay Car parking facilities are available on New Way only 50m away from Batley Town Hall, Batley Pool and also the Library. This free car park offers nearly 50 car parking space and is lit at night for additional security.
