The overriding aim of this policy is to protect the public and to safeguard children and the vulnerable. What happened?

This policy brought together a number of separate policy's into one overarching document. The policy proposed changes to the lower age limit to be based more on omissions than a set age limit.

What difference did the work make?

Kirklees over arching taxi policy was adopted by the Council's licensing and safety committee in March 2019.
