The consultation period will run from Thursday 29th January to 23.59pm on Thursday 12th March 2026
This document?will?provide a West Yorkshire-wide strategic spatial framework to support the delivery of?all?current and future phases of West Yorkshire Mass Transit.

How to view and comment on the documents
The first stage of the consultation (known as ‘Regulation 18’) is to seek views on the scope and content of the Joint Development Plan Document.

Once you have reviewed the consultation materials, please submit your response by completing the survey online at - http://yourvoice.westyorks-ca.gov.uk/SDFReg18 . Printed copies are available to view at the following libraries in Kirklees:

Huddersfield Library – Civic Centre 3, High Street, Huddersfield HD1 2EY
Dewsbury Library - Dewsbury Retail Park, Railway Street, Dewsbury WF12 8EQ
Batley Library -Batley Library, Market Place, Batley, WF17 5DA.
