What we're doing

Understand the needs, aspirations and assets in Marsden Village and work with the local community to make Marsden an even better place to live or visit. A local action plan will be produced following the engagement and the engagement report will be used by the Marsden Community Trust and Cllrs to influence and inform future developments and investments in Marsden.

There will be opportunities at public drop in sessions, street engagements and privately arranged visits to local community groups to run place standard conversations. There will also be an online questionnaire that people can use to share their thoughts. All of this will be publicised online and through physical promotional materials to be distributed across Marsden, including a door to door leaflet drop. This engagement is being led by the Marsden Community Trust who can utilise existing local connections to ensure the engagement is as thorough as possible
