The Council, in its capacity as licensing authority, are under a duty to review its statement of licensing policy every five years. Officers have been working on that revision and are now in a position to consult on the Council's revised policy.

Policy was placed before Full Council in January 2020 and was adopted.

What difference did the work make?

Policy has been implemented and guides applicants, Councillors and officers in how the Council will promote the 4 licensing objectives.
