Growing Newsome
Help for people in Newsome to grow their own food
Growing Newsome aims to help more people in our community to grow their own local food. We want Newsome residents to have the skills, confidence, knowledge, land, resources and support that they need to be able to grow their own food.

We are encouraging Newsome residents to work together to share our valuable skills and resources, so that we can learn how to grow together.

Our work includes:

A community allotment
Food growing events and activities
Working with local schools
Planting fruit and vegetables in Newsome
Supporting each other with food growing
Sharing memories about gardening and local food
