Fitness and Suitability Policy consultation

This consultation ends on 15th February 2023.

All new and existing licensed drivers within Kirklees must meet the standards set out in the Fitness and Suitability Policy.

The council is reviewing the policy, as people travelling in hackney carriage and private hire vehicles should be confident that the drivers of those vehicles meet standards to ensure they are safe and suitable for their role as a licensed driver. The proposed changes have been considered prior to the consultation.
