Our priorities are the same as those we have agreed with our partners - they are shared priorities for Kirklees.

They are underpinned by a Partnership Charter which sets out key principles for how partners will work together to achieve our priorities.

More information about the partnership can be found on the Kirklees Partnership website

  • Enhance life chances for young people
Working in partnership to improve educational attainment for the under 16s and help them to reach their full potential

  • Support older people to be healthy, active and involved in their communities
Helping people to improve their health and well-being. We will focus on preventative work and empowering people to make informed decisions

  • Lead Kirklees out of recession
Making sure we emerge with a stronger economy and better paid jobs

  • Provide effective and productive services
Ensuring services are focused on the needs of the community and are excellent value for money

Storyboards
These storyboards show how we are achieving our priorities for Kirklees in new and innovative ways - working together as one council and in partnership with local agencies. The storyboards help us to demonstrate our successes in delivering high quality, value for money services that make a real difference to lives of all local people.

We also keep an archive of storyboards from previous years.
